Travis and Trina’s project involved a basement development.

The clients wanted a simple theatre using three on-wall speakers, a 10″ subwoofer and two rear discrete, in-ceiling speakers, using a top-quality home theatre receiver to achieve a 5.1 AV system.

We decided to have the equipment live in the mechanical room. The installation included a rack on the wall with full access for upgrades and servicing leaving room on the floor for storage.  Even though the equipment is in a different room, the customer is able to use a unified remote to have full control of their audio/video devices. Optimizing room acoustic measuring software, for the speakers’ distance and location made for a very good-sounding room.
